I have a question.

Why do those charts always talk about an ounce of food?

Who eats an ounce of anything?

The listings should be in one pound and five pound increments.

For example:

Peanuts

One lb. 2,560 calories
5 lbs. 12,800 calories

M&M's

One lb. 2,272 calories
5 lbs. 11,360 calories

That would be more directly useful to everyday living, if you ask me.

I'm switching to dehydrated lentil soup for snacks from now on.

I just hope they don't cause too much gastric upset....

lentils can do that, you know....that's why I've avoided them for so long.
