This is a thread for thoughts and news concerning AMD and overall semiconductor industry. It is intended to help the participants get relevant info on AMD in order to maximize profits.
The rules are simple: No off topic post, no insults, personal attacks or name calling. You MUST be courteous to others. Everyone is welcomed. Lastly there's a 20 posts per day 'speed limit'.
The penalty for minor violations (i.e. all OT, all minor insults, exceeding 20 posts / day) is a suspension of two days without any discussion.
In case of big violations that are "obvious" (e.g. all direct personal insults like e.g. "You are an <insert insult>") I'll suspend the poster for a longer time. If it is not that obvious the procedure for suspension longer than two days is as follows. I must get 5 unique (from different persons) "nominations" for suspension, within a 48 hour period, via PM or email. I then make a post for a vote and you have 48 hours to vote. It will take more than 50% to invoke a suspension longer than two days. In case of big violations the first suspension is for 2 weeks, second one is for one month and the next one is permanent.
