were not trying to spin the propeller on a techies beanie. were just trying to keep our machines running and have some fun while were at it. if we can help you, it makes us happy. dont worry if you dont know the proper jargon... some of us do and we like to share. we want all people to feel welcome here and to post whatever question you have about your computer. the spirit here is about being helpful. and everybody learns. <g>
if you know any of the following stuff, tell us. if not, dont fret, well figure it out with you:
1. what operating system are you running? (win95? win98? winme? win2000?)
2. what browser do you use?
3. briefly describe the problem.
4. how long has it been happening?
5. what are you doing when the prob occurs?
6. any error messages accompanying the problem? (copying the exact message is great!)
7. what have you tried so far to remedy the problem?
