One of the strongest stocks in the high tech segment is Pairgain,
which uses HDSL technology to boost performance of existing copper
communications lines today's high speeds. But Amati Communications
is much stronger! Amati has patents on a competing solution, ADSL,
which boasts speeds of 8 megabytes per second. It should be available
to the market late this year and the relative performance me it is
going to be a big success. With GTE are planning to provide the high
speed of ADSL service to residential at approximately $30.00/month
( no bargain here)and Swiss Telecom are on the table for a contract.

Amati's products are holding both American & European's standards.
With ADSL on the single telephone line in your home now, you could
be talking on the telephone , while simultantously watching a
selected video on demand or interactive education program. You
could also be connecting to your office PC at LAN speeds in one window,
an Internet video source in a second window and a videoconference
using a screen corner. Believed or not, it's reality and YES it's
comming soon to your home by the end of 1996, ALL on the same
telephone line!

With many big contracts awaiting, this company will hit to the
roof in the near future.

Good luck to all Investors on the net.
Greg Pennington

P.S Amati's also on many investors news letter watching lists. Many
said, ADSL is the short term technology for residential and
one expert said : "short term for the next 40 years". And many
observed that AMTX is the next Cascade Communications or The
Fore System of ATM.

Let us compared with Cascade (CSCC-OTC)

FY July Sales ($million) Earnings ($per Share)
======= =============== ====================
1992 1.0 (0.09)
1993 7.0 (0.24)
1994 54.0 0.23
1995 135.0 0.56
1996 est. 260.0 1.10

With those same relative strength, Amati could easily has $60.00 mil.
in fiscal year 1997.

Buy or Not. It is your choice, all those data above are public
informations. I am not a AMTX shares holder nor Cascade, I only
keeping track of the companies who comes out with the leading
products. May be I mean "killer products". Amati has a very strong
product which I believed, it will change our life.
