This site is intended to help investors discover tomorrow's winning stocks today! The beginning of that discovery process is identifying stocks with extraordinary increases in year-over-year quarterly revenues. The raison d'etre for this focus on revenue growth can be partially explained by one of my favorite Warren Buffet quotes: "Writing a check separates commitment from conversation." When companies experience above-average year-over-year revenue growth, what's really happening is that a growing number of customers is buying a company's products or services. They are writing checks . . . they are making commitments. An ancillary benefit of this focus on revenue growth is that I immunize myself from stocks that are being egregiously "hyped" by conversations from investment professionals and the financial media. Beginning in November, 2022, that is what I will provide on this site . . . charts and brief descriptions of companies that recently reported significant year-over-year increases in quarterly revenues. Does this focus on extraordinary revenue growth work? At the end of every month, beginning with the November 2023, I will post two charts comparing performances of the S&P 500, Nasdaq Composite and my 25-stock EGS Portfolio. One chart will show the Launch-to-date comparative performances, the second will show the current Year-to-Date comparative performances. | ||||||||||||
