The March 2014 ebola outbreak is the largest on record. As of July 2014, over 1,200 cases have been confirmed and over 600 dead in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The first reported case in Nigeria occurred in late July as a passenger died of ebola within a few days of landing and there is fear that he exposed fellow passengers on several legs of his plane trip to Nigeria. It is only a matter of time until this spreads to Europe and the US. This site will be used to post news, updates and investments related to the ebola outbreak. As of now, there are 2 public companies that have a strong emphasis in the ebola arena: Corgenix Medical Corp - CONX traded in the US. They are a small medical company in Colorado, they are profitable, have no debt and are working on the only rapid diagnostic ebola test. They were recently awarded a $2.9 million grant from the NIH in June to accelerate development. As of the end of July 2014, their market cap is a tiny $20 million. Their website is corgenix.com.
