Introduction Compact

Since I can't read every thread on SI, actually I can barely read the ones I have marked,I thought maybe having a place to read posts that come with a high recommendation might be a way to get an idea of what everyone thought was a good post. Any post whether an opinion of a stock, thought about the economy, a good joke, etc. that is highly recommended is game. I don't get around too much but I don't see too many with recommendations with 10 or higher so I ask we start there. The only thing I ask is that not to pile on recommending a post so that it is placed here. That is immediate grounds for removal and being banned from the thread. Hopefully we will get thoughtful, provocative or incredibly funny recommendations. That post can then be recommended here to see if the community thinks it is a good recommendation for this thread. I'll start with one of my favorite subjects. Laughter. Thanks for sharing.
