American HealthChoice, Inc. is a medical services company and is the parent company of AHC Medical, TelmedCo, and RehabCo. AHC Medical is comprised of numerous owned and affiliated medical clinics in the state of Texas and Tennessee. In August 2000, AMHI shifted focus away from clinic acquisitions, and towards refining its patient referral process. AMHI's unique patient referral process is comprised of relationships with both attorneys and other professionals in the key metropolitan areas, and with a network of very useful marketing sources. It is this proprietary referral process that has been the key to AMHI's significant turnaround and increasing financial success since the turn of the century. In fact, as a result of its patient referral program, revenue at AMHI's company-owned clinics has increased steadily since 2000.
