TUESDAY, JULY 08, 2003 3:23 PM
DENVER, Jul 8, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Clancy Systems International, Inc. (CLSI) , today announced it has been awarded a contract by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) for permit sales and support of MTA's newly announced Metro Gold Line reserved parking spaces. The new program will enable riders of the Metro Gold Line to reserve their own parking spaces at the Sierra Madre Villa, Lake and Mission Metro Gold Line Stations in Pasadena and South Pasadena.
Clancy will provide internet registration, permit fulfillment, and telephone support for the MTA customers. Registration will commence in July and the parking program will begin on August 1, 2003.
Phone calls indicate a very positive response to the program. Reserved permit holders are guaranteed parking spaces up to 10:30 a.m. each weekday. This can add an extra hour of personal time onto each weekday.
"Based on the positive response we are experiencing from BART customers, we anticipate this program will be very successful both for MTA and for Clancy. We look forward to growing our services for the MTA as their program expands," said Stanley Wolfson, Clancy President.
