Nanotechnology... which companies hold the most promise and what can we expect to see from them in the near future? This thread started in early 2002, there was very little interest in nanotech back then. Towards the latter half of 2003 the initial wave of speculation hit and our nanotech stocks started soaring. FLML, a $2 stock in 2002, soared to $43 in Sept 2003, NVEC went from thinly traded $6 stock to $70 in Jan 2004. Investors are awakening to this formerly unknown science of the small. Interest is starting to rise dramatically, but be forewarned, like the .com rally, only the strong few will make it in the long run.
