Okay, we've had many weeks and months to put all kinds of political party spins on every possible incident and comment made and heard by every self appointed political expert in the field... we can't turn on the TV without hearing still another pundit finding blame with someone else... and I think we've heard from just about all of them by now...

This thread is not designed to complete with some of the other threads here on SI that already provide us that opportunity to vent and report what he said, and what she said from every blow by blow report... the purpose of this thread is to offer our thoughts, and essays, if you prefer, about what we as a people can learn from all this..... stand back from the trees and take a fresh look at the forest, aren't there some things we can learn from this great American Experience? I think so...<g>

I think we're witnessing great history in the making and there are numerous lessons and gems of wisdom that we could pick up along the way as we continue to allow this Presidential election process to unfold.....

Please respect other posters' comments, but you can certainly disagree... there's nothing like a good hearty round table discussion with a longer term view and a more positive underlying tone to get our blood moving in the right direction and feeling good about ourselves as a People once again.....<g>

So, welcome...

And thanks for joining in...<g>
