McKenzie Bay International Ltd (MKBY) is a very unusual mining company. Subject to the completion of an in process acquisition from a Colorado bankruptcy court, the company expects to become the ONLY PROFITABLE DIAMOND PRODUCER IN THE U.S. with production slated to commence in July of this year.

Secondly, MKBY is the operator and holds an 80% joint venture interest in the largest and ONLY PRIMARY VANADIUM deposit in North America.

Vanadium is a strategic metal that is supplied mostly from politically unreliable areas of the world like Russia, China and South Africa. It is also a metal for which demand may be ready to rise sharply as it is increasingly being used in batteries. The company’s vanadium mining project, located in Quebec, is now in the feasibility stage of development. It is expected to become the lowest cost primary vanadium mine in the world, with production anticipated by 2003.

Considering the HUGE advantage MKBY will have in North America for Vanadium manufacture and supply, along with the advantage of no import tariff, MKBY's future is very bright. A good website to get more information of this stock is
