The Celltech group was created through the merger of Celltech Chiroscience (itself the result of a Celltech merger with Chiroscience) and Medeva and now trades (as of Jan. 26 2000) on the U.S. under the symbol CLL (it still trades in London as CCH). Medeva is something of a third rate company, but they had serious distribution and manufacturing capability to the combined company which now has capabilities in Gene discovery, target validation, chiral science, as well as Celltech's core antibody technology. Check out: biz.yahoo.com for a rundown of the pipeline. They haven't merged the three websites yet (bloody slow at doing that), so I'll post it as soon as they put them all together and update them. | ||||||||||||
