Although it's great to have individual boards to discuss companies seperately, I think it's finally time to have a one-stop place where we can discuss issues affecting the entire sector or the companies they encompass. That's why I have proposed creating this new subject.

The interactive entertainment is really taking off. 1999 will be the first year in which worldwide sales of interactive entertainment goods will top movie box-office sales. The new consoles coming along (Sony PlayStation 2, Nintendo "Dolphin", Microsoft X-Box) coupled with the already released Sega Dreamcast and the always venerable personal computer (PC) will surely continue the growth that the entire sector has achieved throughout the mid-nineties.

I'm throwing up some companies and ticker symbols merely for the search functions of silicon investor. Feel free to discuss any companies (public or non-public) and the sector as a whole here. I only ask that we do not attack others here and keep the discussion rational and polite.
