Imagine ebay before it was EBAY. Imagine EBAY after it becomes profitable. Imagine a new company learning from EBAYs past, recognizing what EBAY is missing, and creating it TODAY. Welcome to ableauctions.com! Ableauctions is a new online auction house specializing in a yet to be explored niche, a very big niche I might add, of the world wide web. In short it is a business to business, or business to consumer auction site which has already attracted the attention of many. Unlike EBAY's consumer to consumer network - ableauctions will be selling big ticket items at high margins. EBAY makes a small commission, ableauctions owns everything, waranties everything, and pulls down the dollars! I will try and stay straight to the point in my brief business capsule here and allow others to come and post more current, and critical, information. In short, ableauctions.com is in the process of consolidating a national network of autions business's. Ableauctions has been in the auction business for 12 years and currently generates around $10,000,000 of anual revenue. They brings a significant amount of niche experience to the internet. Their core business is in purchasing for cash distress business assets from going out of business customers or overstock items, which need to be liquidated immediately. They will send in an aution team to inventory the items, catalogue the items for live internet viewing, and allow for internet “live” auctioning. Because they are purchasing distress goods, they are buying for cents on the dollar and selling for an average 35% net net margin - not bad! They are currently operating out of Vancouver B.C. and just began trading on 7/21/99. With over 2 million shares traded in the first two days, and no chat threads started I believe there is significant ground floor oportunities here. The volume IS coming from somewhere, and it's not coming from us. There are 12,250,00 shares in the float. The software is currently in development with a planned Beta aution on August 15th, with the first revenue auction on September 15th. This quiet stock deserves a bit of attention, and in the spirit of true thread participation I suspect we can find out why so many people have already rushed to purchase this unknown gem. I did talk with the IR people at North Star Communications and they have been very helpful. They can be reached at 604-684-8455. Their "new" web sire will be unvailed soon as the beta will be out for preview. Ableautcions has just raised $3,500,000 in seed capital which suggests this horse is just out of the gate. As she runs to NASDAQ around the first corner perhaps this year, let's assume we only see a struggling company in 2 years producing $50,000,000 in revenue @ 35% net margin making $17,500,000 in profit. That's $1.40 per share. Now - what if they succeed, or better yet, what if the big boys of the web believe they will succeed - YOU DO THE MATH! Let's keep the board honest, the posts straight, and enjoy the ride!
