Introduction Compact

Lets discuss the IEEE1394 ("FireWire") business , both from hardware and a software perspective. Technical discussion will be welcome (I am sure many people want to learn, including me) and talk about Business models is also welcome. Many companies are banking their future connectivity on 1394, and there should be apt room for discussing the many possibilities.
