Crown Castle International's crown jewels are its towers. Through its subsidiaries, the company provides wireless communications and broadcast transmission services in the US, the UK, and Puerto Rico. The company leases the antenna space of its more than 1,200 owned or managed towers and rooftop sites to such clients as AT&T Wireless, Motorola, and Sprint PCS. In the UK, Crown Castle provides analog and digital broadcast transmission services to television networks (including the BBC) and to more than 40 national and local radio stations. It also performs network design, development, management, and maintenance services. The company is expanding its own network through acquisitions and new construction.

Scheduled to IPO the week of 8/17/98.
