I thought I should throw this one out there for anyone interested.

I figured that this stock may be a good buy because as people get out of the market, they will look to invest their money elsewhere. Art and other collectibles appear to be an excellent place for investments, with items like musical instruments appreciating tremendously over about 10 years.

The Bass family has recently upped its stakes in the co, and the earnings growth potential is there. Last year it made substansial gains in EPS.

Anyone else got a feeling about Sotheby's for the near or long term?
