Having successfully completed and tested the integration of Sparc AI on a high-end drone, Sparc AI Inc. is progressing to commercialize the technology for the following use cases, including situation awareness, search and rescue, security, and bushfire detection.

With the technical risks behind it, the company can progress to productizing its technology, including the development of marketing collateral and technical specification manuals and start engaging with potential clients and distribution partners.

The company is also pleased to announce that it has started working on designing and building a loitering munition drone. The new drone will be low cost and fully controlled and managed by Sparc AI algorithms that require no GPS (Global Positioning System) or radio frequency connection to a controller. It will fly autonomously and self-navigate to the target enemy.

The objective is to make the low-cost loitering munition drone undetectable by counterdrone technologies and provide a high degree of target acquisition accuracy that is currently lacking by low-cost loitering munition drones.

Directors Anoosh Manzoori and Justin Hanka have provided the company with a $200,000 loan facility. The loan is unsecured and comes with no interest, fees or penalties. A total of 400,000 warrants will be issued in connection to the loan, expiring in two years with an exercise price of 26 cents.

Sparc AI Inc. has created a solution for autonomous flight for the Parrot ANAFI USA drone.

In late 2023, the company put forward a path to develop and re-engineer the core IP and technology, embed it into microchips, mobile phones and high-end drones used by first responders. The company also set an ambitious goal to leverage the Sparc AI algorithms to power a drone in autonomous flight.

The company is pleased to report that it has successfully deployed the Sparc AI algorithms on the Parrot ANAFI USA drone and successfully completed a series of autonomous flights that demonstrates the drone self-navigating and flying autonomously without GPS, lidar (light detection and ranging), radar, satellite or image recognition software. Setting up the autonomous flight is done whilst the drone is deployed in the air and activated within seconds of identifying the target location. There is no need for complex flight path orchestration software or building the flight path offline and then uploading to the drone.

The company has recorded a test flight that demonstrates the drone recording the geolocation of a parked car and then self-navigating, without GPS, to the exact location before flying back to base also without GPS. There is a connection between the drone and the controller for safety and for sending commands manually only when required. The video has been unedited and unscripted and presented in its raw form to fully demonstrate the drone in action.

The app takes full control of the drone’s flight management and navigation systems, and it also houses the SPARC AI proprietary geospatial algorithms and software.

The test completes an important milestone as it demonstrates the ability to geo locate points of interest on water over short and long ranges.

The tests also demonstrated the ability to locate an area over Port Philip Bay, from St Kilda to the township of St Leonards, separated by an area stretching 40km over water. Visibility between the two locations was limited due to the long distance, but SPARC AI was successful in locating the geo coordinates and distance to St Leonards.

The technology worked on and over water in the same way it works on land. It is feasible that the technology would work between countries separated by sea.

There were no assisted technologies used in these tests. Existing technologies such as lidar has a short range (a few hundred metres) and sophisticated camera and software technologies including photogrammetry will have limited use in this test given the distance and limited visibility to the target location.

Full disk encryption of the SD card protects the confidentiality of data stored on the drone, even if it is captured by an adverse party.
Once the encryption is activated, the videos and photos are stored in a LUKS2 volume encrypted with AES-XTS and a 512 bits key. The use of a unique identifier for each container enables the management of a fleet of SD cards which can be used on several drones.
Once the SD card is encrypted, it can never be accessed without the encryption key. The passphrase is carried by FreeFlight 6 USA and is never stored permanently on the drone, which protects from forensics analysis.

The Company’s existing EGTTF listing will be upgraded, and a new ticker code issued to better reflect the Company’s name. Over the past couple of months there has been increasing activity and interest from investors and market makers from the United States. The OTCQB listing will make the SPARC AI securities available to a broader market of investors and financial institutions.

The Company has created an elevation override function to run the SPARC AI algorithms at extreme altitudes. The test was conducted at altitude inputs of 10,000 feet to 164,000 feet (50km). All tests were successful in recording the correct geo coordinates and distance to point of interest.

At 164,000 feet above sea level the SPARC AI algorithms successfully recorded the geolocation of an area that is 39.38km away.

Commercial airlines travel between 30,000 to 40,000 feet. SPARC AI algorithms have demonstrated the capability to calculate geolocation and distance from the Stratosphere.
