Skip ahead to about 1:57 in this video to see my favorite part of this scene in Little Big Man, one of my all-time favorite films. I can't get that clip to embed here since it's in HD and an official one YouTube monetizes, so you'll have to view it there.

The whole scene is great in my opinion (and incredibly violent, especially when it was released in 1970), and a very dark but funny comedy given the realities and history of America and how the Western U.S. was settled by mostly Europeans.

Tim Roth was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe for that movie (and won the BAFTA), and I believe his foppishly evil Cunningham character ("cunning" but also a "ham," right?) was a genius portrayal.

A prissy, self-aggrandizing sociopath has seldom –– if ever –– been played more effectively than Roth did it in that film.
