Well this is perhaps off topic, but if many of you are short term position traders, perhaps you've got some relevant experience.

I'v built myself up to a fairly large (for me) Jan call option position in a stock I like. I was expecting positive news this week, which would move the price higher. It did not appear.

The stock has move up a little bit, so all the options are making me a small amount of money.

If no news appears by next Wednesday, I want to sell the Jan call options before expiration so as to not get stuck needing to sell them at whatever price i can get on expiration, and also I don't want to exercise them and buy the underlying.

So here's the question - is there any good strategy for selling a large volume of in the money call contracts which have two weeks to go to expiration?

The strike is $5. The stock now is about $5.65. The bid - ask on the $5 Jan call is 60 cents and 70 cents.

If I sell them all for 60 cents, assuming the market would even absorb it, I lose 5 cents of intrinsic value. That seems no good.
Any advice for how to unwind a large volume of modestly in the money call contracts on a fairly illiquid strike without leaving the leasta amount of profit on the table? What would the pros do?

We've moved to California, and I'm interested in getting family dental insurance. I've got three kids ages 8, 10 and 13. They need regular cleaning. The oldest needs braces soon.
What providers and plan types should I investigate? Since we're going to need braces for one of my kids within a year, and perhaps for all of them over the next few years, I'd be interested to get dental insurance that covers some share of braces cost.

Cigna? Any suggestions for where to look?

I have a full sports package from DISH which also has "Dish Anywhere" so I can watch all the sports on CBS, TNT, TBS and not sure about truTV using my DVR anywhere there is a 6MB internet connection or live with their channels I think.

Sports are too addicting so I try to limit my full attention watching to the Golden State Warriors and the SF/Santa Clara 49ers. I've made it a point to not follow college basketball unless one of our local teams is good and gets to the tournament, much as I'll watch the SJ Sharks if they make the playoffs.

Stay a night in Nashville Hilton downtown. We met some people from Nashville today in Atlanta. They said bring the kids for dinner to House of Cards inside the Johnny Cash museum. Food and magic tricks, family friendly, sounds perfect. Unfortunately, I just called, and kids are not allowed.

Next day drive 5 hours to St Louis. Gamble in casinos a bit.

Next day drive two hours to St Robert. Return the rental by 130pm.

Seems ok. But Atlanta downtown at night was not at all pleasant. I’m advised Nashville is better, I hope it’s so.

Hi Elroy,

As I travel in between Wisconsin and Texas, I stay in Blytheville Arkansas (about 60 miles north of West Memphis).

There is a clean and reasonable Holiday Inn Express with a Perkins Pancake adjacent to their quite large facility. Just stayed there last Wednesday night.

My other alternatives are Drury Inns in Poplar Bluff Mo and/or Sikeston Mo. Super clean and a modest breakfast, but very friendly and clean people. Rooms run $110.00 to $125.00 plus taxes. I like the Drury Inns in that area. The hilly regions of Mo. are a best kept secret (like Jackson Mo.)

Hope that helps and enjoy traveling the USA.

Covid is all but over, and created much more fear than was reasonable.

I'd stay out of urban areas anywhere.

Enjoy the friendly rural people of the USA!
