I had a conversation with Google's AI about the SpaceX IPO, in which the impracticality of datacenters in space was established (the cooling problem alone is disqualifying). Then we agreed that since according to the prospectus the AI business is expected to be by far the main money-earner for SpaceX, competition with the other huge companies in the same business makes the projected earning rate highly unlikely to be achieved. I ended by asking if a non-insider should participate in the IPO. After some blah-blah about not giving investment advice, I got this:

"However, looking at this strictly through the lens of a clinical, risk-averse financial analyst, if I were in your shoes, I would absolutely stay far away from this IPO."

Not that I needed to be told this, but I was interested to see what Gemini would say.

Will its supply/demand fundamentals keep it around $70, or will it fall with the rest of the metals if they do?

Dollar was up today, I am assuming because the world was chasing petro dollars to buy oil?

But this is a short to medium term event, and will result in more inflation.

The Yen fell in reaction to the dollar, and broke 160. The Japanese usually sell bonds to buy yen below 160?

I am sticking to my guess that silver holds around $70, but we shall soon see.

For the moment silver is just moving in tandem with gold and PGM's, and against a stronger dollar, but as the dollar is strong because the market thinks oil prices will stay high for a while, that would mean more inflation.

Blue Jay Gold has listed on the TSX using the symbol JAY. Take a look at their Steller Au/Ag property in Yukon, which looks like a good speculation to me. It already has a relatively small but very high grade Resource and I would say they have a decent chance of expanding it to the district scale they are touting.

Silver has finally broken below $70. If this isn't a false signal, it could quickly head to Saville's target in the low 50s. This would actually be a relief because it would likely mark the start of the next run.

This reminds me of an exercise I need to get around to. Other than during events like the flooding problem, these days IVN trades pretty well in synch with the price of copper. I've been meaning to look out to 2030 or 2031, by which time the Platreef PGM/Ni/Cu/Au/etc. mine is in full production and see what proportion of IVN's revenue is projected to derive from which metal. One thing for sure -- copper will have a smaller proportion than it does now.

An amusing excerpt from the PR -- 'lower-grade stockpiles contain 254,000 tonnes of ore with an average grade of approximately 22% zinc;. Lower grade? 22%???

BTW, Saville is not a great stock picker -- he is better on larger market and commodity price moves -- so make of this what you want, but he just raised his target for MAI to $14.

Bought Graycliff Exploration, yesterday, Gray.c my eyes popped when I got that email.:

"The first of three metallurgical drill holes drilled using larger diameter HQ core and designated hole A, returned an extremely high grade 7.0 m interval grading 454.34 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) at a depth of 123 m (equivalent to 13.25 ounces gold per ton over the 7.0 m interval"
with a 1m interval of 3030.00 g/t. Not a smear job. Sudbury area.

Only 16.5 m shares out, so ballpark mkt cap of $7 mil with an old mine and more holes coming. Bit weird in that this is an historic hole and part of a data set the co. bought in February. 2 more holes coming and I would have to believe a PP should be in the works. The terms and the participants may be a big factor on how the stock does short term. Some board changes came with the vending of this data, so looks like the stock is getting rebuilt. Who knows what is in the next holes, they have drilled some good hits in the past. I just think downside vs upside at a $7m mkt cap is a reasonable speculation.

Alexander Stubb, the president of Finland and Carney are BFF's, and have many deals in the works..

Mette Frederickson, the Prime minister of Denmark and Carney are also BFF's and she is forever grateful to him for being among the first world leaders to stand up to Trump saying:" Canada stands with Greenland and Denmark. And they are also working together to be a world leader in building wind energy.

Norway and Germany just came to Canada's rescue when Trump pulled out of an 87 year arctic defense alliance, trying to force Canada to buy all the F-35"s, by giving Canada their places in the building line for new state of the art submarines, and saying the three countries would work as one country defending the arctic.

So, I think Canada will be joining the EU very soon.

This means much of the exports Canada had been sending to the US often at a discount, will now be going to Europe e.g. oil, LNG, aluminum, uranium rare earths and potash, etc.

And Canada is now spending billions improving the rail to Churchhill for a short trip to Europe.

This sort of abandonment of the US is also happening in Japan and South Korea, as they increase their ties with Europe.

All of this plus the worldwide selling of America in general and treasury bonds in particular, e.g. Japan, China and the UK, should cause real problems in the US funding its debt going forward, and causing, inflation, rising interest rates and a falling dollar.

And those events should cause gold and silver to rise going forward.

Most of SVB's management's energy has been devoted to sister company ARK for the last number of years.

Today SVB's shares are up, but I am sure it nothing but a technical bounce. As of Oct. 31 they had just over a $1M cash, but they have to cover almost a million in Mexico's court costs, so they essentially have no assets

Meanwhile, GQC is having yet another HSLATT day in the right direction, and has now recouped more than half what it lost after the DM President's comments about Romero. I can't help but wonder if he and his cronies used the dip they created to get cheap shares...
