This is a poser, many of the judges made clear statements. I remember one judge advising that

The left likes to talk at ends about income inequality but never addresses the reasons. Illegal immigration, globalism and bad trade deals have hammered the poor and middle class. The wealthy and fortune 500 do exceptionally well but the poor and middle-income folks have seen their jobs evaporate. DJT has been talking about all three for decades and was willing to do something about it.

3) China, Iran and Russia are not our friends. China wants to be treated as a third world country and at the same time an economic powerhouse. They trample on their citizens rights, steal intellectual property and just put the health of the world at risk by not communicating the depth of the Wuhan problem. They restricted travel domestically but not internationally and bought up much of the world supply of PPE. DJT has been warning about China for decades.

4) Leadership: DJT has endeavored to keep his promises which is a rarity in politics. The list of “promises made, promises kept” is endless from Judicial nominees to moving the USA embassy to Jerusalem (something prior administrations promised but never did). DJT does impromptu press conferences and shows a command of the facts, something Obama rarely did. Maybe he does not sound like a politician, but straight talk buys a lot in fly over country. The press has been openly hostile and most of the media coverage negative. That is why the media’s rating is in the toilet. We like a guy who fights and corrects the record and does not smile when someone throws a shoe at him.

5) Economic plan: lower taxes, reduced regulation, and better trade agreements.

6) The weaponization of the government and their loss of individual freedoms under previous administration. Obama called the Constitution an impediment and history will show that his government spied on a future president and did everything in its power to dissolve and hamper his administration. The same thing is playing out again in the Red versus Blue states as to how the Wuhan virus is handled. The Blue states are doing everything in their power to destroy jobs, livelihoods, and individual freedoms. I suspect, if there was a dim president, they would be doing the opposite. The dim governors are acting like Nazi’s whose ideological roots they share.

7) We do not divide citizens into colors, sexes, preferences or any other demographic grouping. We are all citizens. The prior administration did everything in its power to divide the nation along any number of lines. DJT is trying to bring the country together. That is what we need. Your party sells division and you are the arbiter. I am not buying.

8) You dimshits on the left can watch cnn, stick your heads up your butt and ignore the truth all you want. Keep repeating the same lies about sexism, misogyny, racism, homophobia etc but ignore any of the same by your own crowd. The fact is that DJT is making big inroads into traditional dim constituency (such as blue collar, and minority).

I think President George W. Bush would have handled it better, and I am no fan.

You allowed a man with a mental illness to take over your party.
Now thousands of people die every day while he sings praises of himself.

There isn't a lot of difference between stupid and stupid.
If you are on a political board that keeps mixing in the terms democrat and coronavirus then you are probably going to be real surprised at how many people stupid can kill when it is proud of being stupid. The coronavirus cares little about politics but is happy to take advantage of stupid. You are either doing a great job or you are hoping China has more coronavirus deaths so your not dead last in protecting the people, dead last. Excuse the adjective. I truly believe that stupid is just one noticeable side effect of a much deeper issue and I think that is the case beyond any doubt. Others think the braying and is just Eeyore being Eeyore but I do not, I watch and I see and I have a lifetime of dealing with high functioning but ill, stupid is just stupid. My brother once breathed fumes from a can of oven cleaner to try and clear out his sinuses. I would say that was stupid but it really was more than that, it was stupid though. Stupid may not know, stupid may just be stupid. Stupid may not be uttering falsehoods, stupid may just be stupid. Stupid shows up in little things and in big things. I can say with absolute certainty that when a large number of Americans get unnecessarily killed by stupid, then you will have to decide about stupid. The inability to listen to intelligent people and act on what they are telling you is one of the hallmarks of stupid and proud of it. Bush was stupid but he knew when he was being stupid. If Bush actually believed the Queen had been there at the signing of the Declaration of Independence and insisted on making policy based on that belief there would be a problem. I understand that the economic pressure on some businesses that are very close to closing shop is real but death is pretty final. I think starting in a month or so we will be able to take a more in depth look at the actual consequences of being stupid and proud of it. That the virus is winning hands down is pretty clear to me, I am not going out dancing anytime soon. If you are on a political thread that keeps pretending that the worst performance of any country or any leader on this planet in the current crisis is something that Eeyore can change by braying a lot, then you are stupid.

He really seems mild now doesn't he, ole George W. I know that many Americans liked George and many Americans loved George and he was well hated as well, it wasn't that long ago that he was in charge, it only seems like it was a different age. I wonder how George would be handling this crisis if it happened on his watch, I am quite certain that many would prefer George right now. George W. wasn't a proven failure except at college. I think his Dad probably called in a few favours or it is likely that George W. would have had to go to summer school every summer. Alternatively he could retain an entire office full of mudshark lawyers to suppress the record, hide, bluster or support his lies. I am sure everyone remembers the time George W. suggested that the Queen was more than 93 years old, and was in fact closer to 200 and something. It seems so innocent now, his image has softened over time so that people remember his good points.George W. accepted who he was, he surrounded himself, or his father surrounded him, with men who were serious and steady to guide America. I was never a fan of Bush and have little to say about American politics beyond "Really, that is unbelievable". It is hard to imagine that anyone could do a worse job than the one being done currently.

My brother is on AISH, that is Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped. His illness manifests in many forms but has over the years produced several constants that resurface. One of the most annoying aspects of his illness is his belief that he is a medical authority. On one occasion he showed up here in the morning on his way to get his shot (once weekly). He had a duotang full of papers he had written out by hand and as he was leaving he said I should "Wish him luck.?" Not sure what he was talking about I left it at that. It turns out the duotang had the cure for Alzheimers in it. He had worked it out himself and written it out. He was certain and he expected that the Doctor's would be able to look in his duotang, implement the cure he had found right away and that would be the end of Alzheimer's. This episode ended up with him being removed from the mental health office by the police and admitted for observation to the local ward. Dan, or Doctor Dan as he really hates to be called is an authority on many subjects and is upset if people don't acknowledge his abilities. He loves to play the guitar and it is a great solace to him. The only problem is he doesn't know how to play one. So he bangs away for hours on end, literally bangs away. He doesn't know a single chord, has never taken a lesson and makes the most godawful racket you could possibly imagine. In the last apartment block he lived in the entire building had a meeting (eight apartments including Dan's) and they gave him a sheet detailing when his guitar playing would be allowed. They must have tried to word it in a way that would not seem so hostile to Daniel as he is a likable guy. Anyway, when he got that sheet with the times on it it was a list of times they were asking him to play for them, it was a schedule of concert times, that is what he saw. I love my brother, I understand he is ill and hope others realize that as well.
