All rights reserved.

News flash..In their rush to solve the Y2K problem, engineers have neglected to anticipate the pending problems which will arise in Y10K. They increased the code space alloted to the year enumeration, but only by two. This will cover all of the years through 9999 The next crisis will be forthcoming in the year 10,000. Work on this impending doom will be put off until the last minute, as a goodly portion of the current systems will crash soon anyway. Attempts have been made to keep this from the public domain to prevent panic in the streets. High level conferences are now taking place to ascertain where to place the blame and to ready press announcements to calm public fears. We examine the sudden appearance of the mysterious MV Ocean Trader, a covert US special operations ship disguised as a civilian cargo vessel but equipped with Navy SEALs, helicopters, assault boats, and intelligence facilities. From nighttime combat swimmer insertions and helicopter assaults to Iranian missile batteries, fast attack boats, and swarm tactics in shallow waters, we break down what a real operation against Iranian territory could actually look like. The stakes are enormous, because if Kharg Island falls, Iran could lose the economic lifeline that keeps the country running.

msn.com

[Savant] Saipan, Tinian 71,000 US troops invaded these islands - then they found the ...

Saipan, Tinian

71,000 US troops invaded these islands - then they found the nuclear launch site

Hidden deep in the Pacific Ocean, the Northern Mariana Islands played a massive role in some of the darkest moments of World War II. From brutal jungle battles and mass civilian deaths to the secret airfields where the atomic bomb missions began, these isolated islands hold stories that most Americans have never even heard about. In this video, the creator spends 24 hours exploring the isolated underground world, from hidden homes, churches and hotels to dangerous mining tunnels filled with million-dollar opals. Online rumors describe the city as one of the most dangerous places in the country, with stories of crime, isolation and people living beneath the surface like it’s the end of the world. But after meeting the residents face-to-face, the experience reveals a community far different from the eerie reputation surrounding it.

msn.com

[Savant] Something weird is happening with 3I Atlas - scientists are starting to worry S...

Something weird is happening with 3I Atlas - scientists are starting to worry

Scientists studying 3I Atlas detected strange and unexplained behavior that is beginning to raise serious questions among astronomers. The deeper researchers analyzed the object, the more unusual and unsettling the data became. Strange movement patterns, unexpected signals, and unexplained observations continued challenging existing expectations about objects moving through deep space. Some scientists believe the mystery surrounding 3I Atlas could force researchers to rethink current models and assumptions. This video explains the hidden system moving heat and water across the planet, including the massive “global conveyor belt” deep beneath the ocean’s surface. But as global temperatures rise, scientists warn that this crucial current may already be slowing down — with potentially serious consequences for Earth’s climate and weather systems

A cargo ship lost 28,000 toys in one storm - then scientists realized something was very wrong | Watch

[Savant] Thousands of hidden chambers may be buried beneath Hawara right now For decades...

Thousands of hidden chambers may be buried beneath Hawara right now

For decades, rumors surrounded the legendary Lost Labyrinth of Egypt buried beneath the Hawara pyramid. But with a clever design using wheels and a propeller, this machine extracts energy from the moving air in an unexpected way. Instead of acting like a sail, the propeller pushes air backward, allowing the vehicle to accelerate beyond wind speed. The result is a counterintuitive demonstration that challenges how most people think about motion and energy

msn.com

[Savant] Student-built car hits 2,145 MPG and beats every production vehicle ***however>>...

Student-built car hits 2,145 MPG and beats every production vehicle ***however>>

Student-built car hits 2,145 MPG and beats every production vehicle

[Savant] How much did a Hershey bar cost in 1960? This size was considered substantial for a chocolate bar at the time, catering to consumers looking for a satisfying treat.

Mid-1900s Adjustments: As the years progressed, particularly during the mid-1900s, the size of the Hershey bar began to shrink. This was a response to market demands and the need to keep prices low. By this time, the standard Hershey bar had reduced in size to approximately 1.55 ounces (43 grams), which remains the standard size today.

Current Dimensions: The modern Hershey bar measures about 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) long, 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) wide, and 0.3 inches (0.76 cm) thick. This size is designed to be convenient for snacking while still providing a satisfying chocolate experience.

Special Editions and Variations: Over the years, Hershey has introduced various special editions and flavors, such as the King Size bar, which weighs about 3.2 ounces (90.7 grams). These variations allow Hershey to experiment with different sizes and ingredients while catering to diverse consumer preferences.

Economic Influences: The size of Hershey bars has also been influenced by economic factors, such as fluctuations in cocoa prices. During times of rising costs, Hershey has adjusted the weight of its bars to maintain price points, often decreasing the size when necessary.

Conclusion
While there is no specific chart available detailing the sizes of Hershey's bars throughout history, the information indicates a clear trend of initial larger sizes followed by gradual reductions to meet market needs. The standard Hershey bar today is a compact and convenient option that has remained popular among consumers for over a century. They call it the Mongolian Death Worm, and it’s said to be a long, red, slimy thing that can spit venom or even shoot out electric shocks! Locals have been telling stories about it for ages, saying it hides under the sand and only pops out to attack its prey. Scientists haven’t found solid proof it exists yet, but the mystery keeps adventurers and researchers hooked. Some think it’s just a legend or maybe a misidentified snake, while others swear it’s real. Whether it’s fact or fiction, it’s one wild story from one of the world’s most desolate places!

The mystery of the Gobi Desert monster | Watch

[Savant] The story works - until you look at the quarry marks Ancient Egyptian sites con...

The story works - until you look at the quarry marks

Ancient Egyptian sites contain massive granite columns, obelisks, and blocks that clearly show signs of being quarried, shaped, and transported with remarkable precision. Yet according to the traditional narrative, the tools available at the time—primarily copper—would not have been capable of cutting such hard stone. Even more puzzling, quarry marks found on these structures closely match those seen at known extraction sites, suggesting a consistent method was used. What begins as a question about tools quickly turns into a deeper contradiction: if they couldn’t do it, why is the evidence everywhere?

msn.com

[Savant] New Antarctic find leaves researchers warning something is very wrong A new dee...

New Antarctic find leaves researchers warning something is very wrong

A new deep-ice scan has revealed something beneath Antarctica that scientists never expected to confront. This video explores the Black Stone, the ancient origins of the Kaaba, the rituals of Hajj, and the dramatic history of the structure that millions circle every year in prayer and pilgrimage.

msn.com

The Islamic Antichrist That Will Deceive The World Before Judgement Day

Descriptions from early sources portray him as a one-eyed figure with the word “disbeliever” marked on his forehead. He is believed to perform acts that appear miraculous, convincing many to follow him. Despite his power, certain sacred cities are said to be protected from him. Scholars and believers have interpreted him in many ways — as a literal figure, a symbol of corruption, or a representation of deception itself. His story has evolved across centuries of interpretation. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.).

Nordics are a race of highly-human-like creatures who, despite being from a far-flung planet, closely resemble people northern Europe here on planet Earth.

Reptilians are scaley skinned lizard-like creatures with human limbs, long tails, who walk upright, experts in the field speculate.

Grays are small, massive-eyed, hairless creatures — classically depicted in films such as “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”

Insectoids are bug-like humanoids, sometimes referred to as Mantids because they resemble a praying mantis, Ufologists speculate.

Former Air Force Intelligence officer and UAP Task Force member David Grusch testified under oath in Congress in 2023 that the US was in possession of “non-human biologics” recovered from dozens of crashed UFOs.

Those claims were based on testimony from members of the supposed crash retrieval program which was detailed in Farah’s film “Age of Disclosure,” which premiered in March.

“I’ve talked off the record with some people who are involved in recoveries,” Farah told Bartlett on Thursday’s podcast, adding: “They would not go on camera to do interviews.

“One I thought was going to do an interview and then a couple days before sent me a message saying ‘After further consideration and long talks with my wife, I decided I’d be forfeiting my life if I participated in your interview,’” Farah said.

“One I thought was going to do an interview and then a couple days before sent me a message saying ‘After further consideration and long talks with my wife, I decided I’d be forfeiting my life if I participated in your interview,’” Farah said.

[Savant] Docs call for GLP-1 warning label due to 'very dangerous' risk

[Savant] Samsung To Unveil Smart Glasses In Weeks, Beating Apple, Report Claims A new re...

Samsung To Unveil Smart Glasses In Weeks, Beating Apple, Report Claims

A new report suggests Samsung is preparing to launch AI-capable smart glasses, potentially preempting Apple in the market for such a device. This move signals a new direction for wearable technology, integrating artificial intelligence directly into eyewear.

Detailed Summary:

Samsung's upcoming smart glasses are expected to feature advanced AI capabilities, allowing for seamless integration of intelligent features into everyday use. The specific functionalities are not detailed, but the implication is that they will offer significant assistance and convenience to users.

The report indicates that Samsung aims to be the first major tech company to release AI-powered smart glasses to the public. This theoretical physicist says yes, and he's found it

Key takeaways

EML Operator: A new function, eml(x, y) := exp(x) – ln(y), can theoretically replace all standard mathematical operations, from trigonometry to roots and logarithms.

Computational Implications: Acts like a NAND gate for continuous math, enabling symbolic regression and continuous optimization in machine learning and formula discovery.

Theoretical Proof-of-Concept: While intriguing, EML is currently impractical for humans or computers beyond six nested operations, serving mainly as a demonstration of what’s mathematically possible.

It’s not often a math paper goes viral, but a new preprint from a theoretical physicist at Poland’s Jagiellonian University has well and truly bucked the trend. Why? Because it seems to reduce all of math down to a single operation – no addition, subtraction, square roots, cos, sin, or tan required.

“Everyone learns many mathematical operations in school: fractions, roots, logarithms, and trigonometric functions […] each with its own rules and a dedicated button on a scientific calculator,” notes Andrzej Odrzywoek’s new paper.

But “higher mathematics reveals that many of these are redundant,” he writes: “for example, trigonometric ones reduce to the complex exponential.”

“How far can this reduction go?” he asks. “We show that it goes all the way: a single operation, eml(x, y), replaces every one of them.”

Very simple; very complicatedImagine a calculator with only two buttons: 1, and something that says “EML”. It may not be easy or time-efficient, but from those two, you could feasibly reproduce any computation possible on a normal scientific calculator.

So what is this mysterious function? Well, “EML” is actually a very descriptive name: the letters stand for “exponent minus log,” and the operator looks like this:

eml(x, y) := exp(x) – ln(y).

Now, we’re really not kidding when we say this baby isn’t easy to use. If you want to produce the number 0, for example – pretty much one of the foundational bits of any mathematical system – you’d have to type this into your two-button calculator:

eml(1, eml(eml(1, 1), 1))

… which is a mite longer than just pressing a simple “0” button, let’s face it.

But to be fair, efficiency and ease for humans isn’t really the point. “The discovery was a side result of a larger project on exhaustive search, using methods known as symbolic regression,” Odrzywoek told IFLScience.

That’s an area of math – or, really, computer science – that is more like a treasure hunt than a brainteaser: it “seek[s] exact laws and formulas in data,” he explained.

You can think of symbolic regression methods as a kind of “backwards” math – you start with the end results and use symbolic regression to work towards the equation that produces them.

Except, by “work towards,” we mean “trawl wildly through a vast space of potential expressions until you find one that fits.” It’s not something you’d want to try as a human, basically.

But if you’re already deep in the theoretical computing weeds, why not keep going? “Along the way, I became curious about how small the basis for such a search could be,” Odrzywoek said. “EML was the answer.”

The first step on an unknown pathOn the face of it, this is little more than a mathematical trick – a particularly neat one, to be sure, but nothing super helpful for day-to-day life.

But that’s really selling it short: Odrzywoek “is essentially proposing a ‘NAND gate for continuous mathematics’,” Martin Benning, Professor of Inverse Problems in the Department of Computer Science at University College London, explained to IFLScience. A NAND gate is a type of logic gate in computing that is "functionally complete," meaning any function can be performed with only this type of gate.

(Benning was not involved in Odrzywoek's project; his work focuses on inverse problems and continuous optimization, an area that is fairly close to the concepts in this paper, but that he stresses does not make him an authority on them.)

“By doing this, [he] turns what is usually a discrete and combinatorial search problem into a uniform continuous optimization problem,” Benning told IFLScience. “From the perspective of machine learning, that is an interesting and appealing shift because it allows us to theoretically use standard neural network training techniques to discover exact mathematical formulas from data.”

Open the Youtube video

Could all of math be reduced to a single operation? The “lake” is actually an ultra-salty brine pool, so dense that a submersible can bounce off its surface like a trampoline. Most fish, crabs, lobsters, and eels that slip below the surface convulse within seconds and often never come back, leaving the shoreline littered with preserved bodies. But around this toxic underwater graveyard, scientists found tube worms, giant 100-year-old mussels, hagfish, and bacteria that survive on methane instead of sunlight.

A submersible found a dark mirror on the seafloor - then saw the bodies | Watch

[Savant] What was found inside the Vatican vaults is raising questions For centuries, th...

What was found inside the Vatican vaults is raising questions

For centuries, the Vatican Archives have been surrounded by secrecy, with limited access granted only to select researchers. It opens the door to a vast, until-now obscured chapter of ancient history. It lets a vanished society speak to us again, often after thousands of years of silence.

In this case, the voice comes from Elam, a Bronze Age civilization in what is now southwestern Iran. Linear Elamite was first discovered by French excavators at Susa in 1903. It’s believed the script was used between 2300 and 1880 B.C. It resisted decipherment for generations, partly because scholars had so little material to work with. Unlike cuneiform, which survives in hundreds of thousands of tablets, Linear Elamite survives in only a small corpus of inscriptions.

The breakthrough came when Desset gained access to a group of silver vessels held in a private collection in London. On them, he spotted the kind of clue that has unlocked scripts before: royal names.

His “Ptolemy” was Šilhaha, an Elamite ruler from around 1950 B.C. The reference made here is to the Rosetta Stone. When Jean-François Champollion deciphered Egyptian hieroglyphs, royal names such as Ptolemy and Cleopatra gave him a crucial foothold because he could match repeated symbols to names already known from Greek.

From that repeated sequence of signs, Desset had the first firm sounds he needed to start reading the script.

The claim is both thrilling and disputed. Some scholars argue that Desset has gone too far, especially in describing Linear Elamite as a purely phonetic writing system. Others question the role of unprovenanced objects in the decipherment.

If Desset is right, Linear Elamite forces historians to look again at ancient Iran with fresh eyes — not as a fringe of Mesopotamia, but as one of the places where people experimented boldly with the written word.

The Decoding of the Elamite script

One of the few surviving Elamite clay tablets.© ZME Science

The Phaistos disk, discovered in 1908 during the excavation of an ancient Minoan palace in Crete, is one of archaeology’s great linguistic mysteries — bearing unknown inscriptions that have baffled historians for more than a century. The late 19th-century discovery of Etruscan letters on the wrappings of an Egyptian mummy greatly increased the number of known inscriptions, and yet the writing system is still an enigma. They were kept in a London safety deposit center, far from the soil where they had supposedly been found.

This is where the trouble starts.

Not Quite a Rosetta Stone

King Puzur-Sushinak inscription (Table au lion), in two scripts of Akkadian cuneiform and Linear Elamite. Ca. 2120 – 2100 BCE, Discovered in Susa, Louvre Museum.© ZME Science

Egyptian hieroglyphs developed soon after in a world of kingship, ritual, and monumental display.

Both systems mixed signs for sounds with signs for words or ideas.

Linear Elamite may have done something entirely different.

In their conclusion, Desset and colleagues argue that at a time when Mesopotamian cuneiform and Egyptian hieroglyphs were mixed systems, “the Iranian plateau followed an original path in the history of writing” with what they call the oldest currently known purely phonographic writing system.

Their proposed grid has 77 values: five vowels, 12 consonants, and 60 syllabic signs.

That does not make Linear Elamite an alphabet in the modern sense. It is closer to an alpha-syllabary. But if the interpretation holds, it would push the history of purely sound-based writing back centuries earlier than many scholars assumed.

It would also make ancient Iran central to one of humanity’s greatest inventions: the conversion of speech into symbols that can be etched on things

A youtube video

The Decipherment of Linear Elamite Writing | Dr François Desset

The Decipherment of Linear Elamite Writing | Dr François Desset

[Savant] Something is happening with orcas at sea - The attacks are spreading For years,...

Something is happening with orcas at sea - The attacks are spreading

For years, orcas off the coasts of Spain and Portugal have been ramming boats, tearing off rudders, and even sinking vessels. Allegations surfaced during Senate testimony linking Nancy Pelosi's legislative decisions to her husband's stock trades. Among the claims: Nvidia call options purchased before the CHIPS Act, Visa shares sold before antitrust filings, and hidden classified records allegedly found during an FBI internal review. Congressional stock trading has been a bipartisan controversy for years — but this hearing brought it to a breaking point. This video covers the key moments from the Senate Judiciary Committee session, the financial allegations raised during Kash Patel's testimony, and the national debate around congressional accountability.

JUST IN: Pelosi SQUIRMS as Kash Patel Reveals Hidden FBI Files at Senate Hearing

[Savant] JD Vance WIPED THE FLOOR With Hillary Clinton in Senate... Following the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and a series of strikes on IRGC leadership, internal fractures have emerged within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Reports indicate that a powerful faction of the IRGC is now demanding the Iranian leader's resignation to prevent a total state collapse. In this video, we analyze the 2025-2026 Iranian protests, the impact of record-high inflation, and the unprecedented IRGC mutiny that is threatening the core of the Islamic Republic. We examine the role of Reza Pahlavi, the recent internet blackouts, and the violent crackdown by security forces. Is this the end of the regime, or a prelude to a wider Iran war? Stay tuned for breaking updates on the Iran internal crisis and what this means for Middle Eastern stability. On April 23rd, 2026, the sudden resignation of Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf signaled the start of a silent coup that has effectively ended the Islamic Republic as we know it. While the world watched for missiles, a paramilitary network—the IRGC—swallowed the civilian government whole, sidelining President Pezeshkian and placing the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, under a "security cordon."

Tehran Regime Faces COLLAPSE as Top Iran Leader SUDDENLY Resign

[Savant] US Just Did Something BRUTAL on Hormuz... and This will change EVERYTHING for Ch...

US Just Did Something BRUTAL on Hormuz... and This will change EVERYTHING for China FOREVER

The United States Navy just shattered a four-decade-old secret.
