(OTCQB: MHTX), is currently collaborating with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) to advance, demonstrate and validate a cancer detection and measurement technology originally developed by Edward R. Flynn, PhD. John D. Hazle, PhD of the MD Anderson Cancer Center recently presented initial results from the collaboration in a poster at the World Molecular Imaging Conference in Seoul, South Korea. The link to the results can be found here -http://www.mhtx.com/wmic/2014-poster.pdf. The poster concluded that Senior Scientific’s MRX technology “is unparalleled in terms of sensitivity compared to imaging-based ovarian cancer detection methods, such as TVU; thus, it holds promise for detecting ovarian cancer much earlier.” The poster describes the MRX technology as “(based on unpublished data) it is up to 200 times more sensitive than current imaging technologies.” The poster also noted that, “Because the technology relies on (NPs) binding to specific cancer cells and is detecting molecular markers, only cancer will presumably be detected with this technology while unbound particles in the vascular space will not be detected. Another advantage of nanomagnetic relaxometry compared to some imaging-based technologies is that it does not expose patients to potentially harmful ionizing radiation and, because this technology is considered to be safe for human use, we expect that human studies could begin within the next five years. Thus, nanomagnetic relaxometry holds promise for detecting ovarian cancer much earlier, which is crucial to increasing survivorship.” The Company hopes to accelerate its FDA submissions. About Manhattan ScientificsManhattan Scientifics Inc. is located in New Mexico, New York and Montreal, is focused on the commercialization of disruptive technologies in the nano-medicine space. It has achieved several critical milestones in the development of its proprietary technology for the very early detection of cancer. The company is also at work with its licensed NYSE "partner" to commercialize medical prosthetics applications for its patented ultra-fine-grain nanotechnology metals.

SI - Manhattan Scientific....MHTX

[baba101] Not much activity here as stock drifts lower. Its not happening. IF this were to be done in roughly 12 40,000 share lots, each @ a .002 higher price, it would total $53,658. Although the success of this scaled sell strategy could not be guaranteed, The math is compelling and the smaller ask sizes being closer to the bid sizes may cause more shares to actually trade. SSC has an inside track to that board, either he or someone he knows started the site and continues to monitor it and use it for his own bashing of the company. I wrote to the moderator whose name i can not remember, that it is impossible to have a dialogue or discussion on that board and after they banned me, for reasons only known to the moderator (probably hidden motives that SSC only knows about) that I promised him that my departure would end that board's existence. Thus my starting this board and believe me it has been a super idea. IHUB mhtx, did die for a while, but then you, jimjen and others continue to go back to it. There is no need, this board is sufficient. Why do we need Yahoo or IHUB? If we exchange ideas and are able to express ourselves here on SI? This forum is moderated by smart individuals and they will not delete any message that fights back on bashers at long as we keep it civil. We can make this the official MHTX message board, all we need is to have everyone who believes in the company and has a real vested interest in it to come and register on this board. The evil SSC will only be talking to himself and after all that only leads to insanity. LOL And if he decides to venture here, we can all fight back without the fear of deleted posts and censorship as is the case on IHUB

PS, if you really want to join the Yahoo board, just skip the message that tells you to sign up with a phone number. At IHUB I posted a response to a member there named SSC. 30 seconds after I posted, I noticed a little pop up saying I'd received a response to my post, so I refreshed the page and SSC had responded back very quick, and then I noticed my post had been deleted!
Under account settings, I found the link to look at my deleted posts, of which I had only this one, that just got deleted and it said " Off Topic", of which it most certainly wasn't. Upon further reading, it said if I felt the message was deleted in error, click the submit button below to have it further reviewed. But where the submit button should have been it wasn't and it said this in it's place.
"This deletion was either removed by an Admin or has already been reviewed by an Admin."

Needless to say I was shocked at the how quick it was deleted, responded and reviewed in under 2 minutes!
I believe from what I've read here, and on the Yahoo MHTX forum that this SSC person may be deleting all posts on IHUB that he just doesn't like, and can somehow, review his/her own deletions for instant review.
I tried to cancel my account at IHUB but cannot find a way to do it ?

I also tried all day to sign up for a Yahoo account to post there at the MHTX forum and warn others about what is going on at IHUB and this SSC person, but they required a mobile phone to sign up and send a confirmation too. I don't own a mobile phone and tried my home land line instead to no avail. Maybe someone who has a Yahoo account would be kind enough to post my experience over there for me.

Sorry to be of bother.

[Sparroww] Impressive and seems that despite the false stories on the message boards mhtx i...

Impressive and seems that despite the false stories on the message boards mhtx is telling all of us that Metallicum is still alive. Lots of us silently working at our day jobs, not sitting hour after hour bashing and crying about our investment and silently optimistic about mhtx. The shareholders letter milestones will be what I am watching for.

Moreover, we are nearing completion of our own in-house N-P production facility, which will give us a complete razor (magnetic instruments) and razor blade (nanoparticles) business opportunity. We intend to license our proprietary know-how and patents to major industrial partners and simultaneously provide the medical community with injectable nanoparticles for use with our MRX diagnostic instruments.
Our continuing collaboration with the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, demonstrating the effective use of the MRX technology in a hospital setting speaks volumes about our technology and about MDA's enthusiasm for our work. Our goal is to expand this collaborative relationship and leverage MDA’s medical expertise to address early identification of multiple types of cancers. We are moving forward promptly on this front.
We plan to diversify and reach out to other important cancer research hospitals. Success at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is expected to trigger significant interest across the spectrum of global cancer research hospitals. Our technology is a diagnostic that can be paired with many different therapies. We are in contact with other companies who have developed important cancer therapeutic technologies. We are exploring potential joint venturing with such companies.
I expect us to establish formal pre-clinical research programs with additional prominent cancer centers for use of our MRX systems.
Additionally, anticipating fruitful outcomes from our expanded collaborations I have initiated programs that will prepare us for the regulatory process we will need to undertake for human clinical studies.

[gorcon] Glad to hear I'm not the only one still holding down the fort. :) I'm optimisti...

Glad to hear I'm not the only one still holding down the fort. :) I'm optimistic we'll hear some interesting news soon.

[Sparroww] gorcon, we are all still here, just watching and waiting. I don't know. Perhaps they didn't. Although I personally think some periodic board change over is a good thing, It could be as benign as an aging star baseball player signing with his original team to finish his career where it began. With mhtx "on the cusp" of success with Senior Scientific and the potential of another license this quarter, giving them consecutive, "in the black" quarters for the first time, maybe they just wanted to see all this come to pass under the leadership of the company's founder.
