Agree 100%. There are only certain stations that even sell it and it's usually only one pump. For sure you won't find it at a truck stop as it was illegal to use in over the road vehicles.

There are only so many points of purchase for red diesel.
Fed tax on it is deferred so that brings down Spring planting costs. When harvest brings the $, the tax is handled more easily.

But, we're in the middle of winter wheat planting season.
The Hunt For Red diesel in October has begun.

It's kinda like letting the mice into the grain bin.
