My old XJ Cherokee that I factory ordered new, back in 1999, still runs like the Energizer bunny, with over 365,000 miles on the original, never rebuilt drive train, and it still looks good as well. One of the last real Jeeps. I'll keep it forever. I regretfully sold my Camaro toys when I moved last year and am now kinda looking for another rather inexpensive older convertible weekend cruiser. Maybe a LT1 C4 Corvette or even an early 90's XK8 Jag. Nice, low mileage examples of either one can be had for low 5 figure prices or even a bit less.If I really want 3 pedals, it would have to be the Vette, though.. They can remotely shut down your engine as well. New vehicles are basically computers on wheels. No thanks, not for me.
