If you consider the printing and postage costs, $1,000,000 might send out how many mailers? 500,000? 99% get thrown away. 5000 people briefly consider it and 500 people buy a few shares.

Anyone think figures like that are in the ballpark?

If we assume the shares have no long term value at all, then any purchases of shares over the $1,000,000 are pure profit. Well, I'm sure there are tons of other costs that I'm not considering.
