Very interesting situation. There's nothing wrong with boring if it generates a good rate of return. With the family owning a big piece. They could possibly go after the rest themselves. The new funds coming in, might be seeing, what you see. Minority shareholders could also be left with a poor taste on a stingy bid. I hope it works out for you! :+ )

PSTA - After a quick review. A weaker competitor that you mention does fit quite well. IMO-If interested, they most likely will offer stock. They are cash weak, but I see improvement as the low carb diet is in decline.
