OTG Software Teams with ASACA at NAB Show to Support DVD-RAM for Broadcast
OTG's DiskXtender Demonstrated in Broadcast Applications At NAB's Convergence of Entertainment and Technology
BETHESDA, Md., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- OTG Software (Nasdaq: OTGS - news) today announced that it is teaming with ASACA, a leader in manufacturing products for the broadcast and DVD storage markets worldwide, at the National Association of Broadcasters NAB 2000 Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, to demonstrate a variety of broadcast applications using ASACA's DVD-RAM libraries and OTG's DiskXtender storage software.

In the ASACA booth (No. M9335), OTG's DiskXtender will be working with an ASACA DVD library in RAID mode using an Ultera Systems RAID controller addressing large broadcast files at high transfer rates. With Leitch Technology (NAB Booth #L9328), DiskXtender will be used for a high-performance, low-cost video archiving system. At the InfoValue Computing booth (NAB #M7450), DiskXtender will be used for high-performance video storage on InfoValue's broadcast video server. At InnovaCom Inc.'s booth (NAB #M10160), DiskXtender will store a broadcast feed encoded into MPEG. With Blueline Technology (NAB Booth #L2349), an automated broadcast system will be shown using the ASACA library and DiskXtender.

DiskXtender enables online management of data throughout an enterprise's network, while tracking and managing stored file locations. Through DiskXtender's open architecture, end users and OEMs can integrate DiskXtender with Web and LAN applications.

``The convergence of the DVD-RAM technology, the special features and functionality of the ASACA Library, and the performance of the OTG DiskXtender product, allows us to offer a best of breed solution to our resellers and coporate customers,' said Joseph Mannin, CEO of NET Source, a master distributor of the ASACA libraries and OTG Software's products.
