The charging statement explicitly says the payment involved personal benefit. And the statute is crystal clear that it is not a crime if personal benefit is involved.

You are way, far away from the facts on Cohen, who was in jail for campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to congress. Trump did none of these things. Didn't even have a role in any of them. Which is why he hasn't been arrested on these fake charges.
