for those who appreciate the arcane..

You will see same pallets at say HD or Lowes.. etc... on the floor at Walmart..

They are 48x40 rectangles... U are seeing the wide (48in) side in that pic

shopping at HD or Lowes you will see these placed in the upper racks with essentially zero clearance between ... 2 48in pallets fit into a 96in bay ... precision work actually .. really..

Aisles are typically very narrow and posts have those annoying clip ons.. in the way ... aside from those annoying 'stackouts' ... designed for folks to impulse buy...

Stackout... anathema to a reach truck driver

Canadian Chep pallet.. a real pain in ass for wide side placement in narrow aisles .. note 1/2 moons.. forks get caught on exit.. Tight aisles are bad... but US version makes it easier...

Hate these things ... but thankfully we get 80% US models...
