Every indication for global temps says one direction from here.
The weak sunspot max ahead will bring little alleviation to the cosmic ray situation.
The 200 dma of cosmic ray counts has been making new highs every day for years. That will continue for quite some time since there is a large divergence between current levels and the dma. Possibly up to a year...as the magnetosphere continues weakening.
Many of the effects on Earth's systems are cumulative and carry momentum.
The AMOC is one of those systems.
