We haven't borrowed anything. They sell us stuff. We pay in dollars. They take those dollars and buy T-bills. An investment on their part. On our part they are part of the market for our out of control government spenders. The reason they took over as primary vendor to us goes back to Clinton and Bush letting them in as vendors under most favored nation status. This whole thing is a long trail of corruption...payoffs to politicians and business leaders to hand over markets and technology. How deep and pervasive that corruption is surfaced on Hunter's laptop and the testimony of Tony Bobulinski. The big guy, in on the payoffs, is now our President. I don't call that borrowing. I call it paying off our elites to take over our manufacturing and steal a big chunk of our industry. We should never have gone this route...we should have developed out of country suppliers in Mexico and Puerto Rico. PR was on track to become a primary manufacturer of medical supplies. Inept and corrupt government their derailed it and that all went to China. (A corrupt government supported big time by the Democratic party that now wants to make that s'hole a state.) Part of the genius of Donald Trump was to pivot back to Mexico...hence the new trade agreement. Got them in return to crack down on the flow of illegals. The plan was to pull supply chains out of China and rebuild them in Mexico. The new governor of PR supported Trump. Reason was he had worked out plans with them to relocate medical supply industry in PR. YOu think this half brain dead idiot who never had an original idea in his life and the crackpots and old hacks around him are going to come up with anything far-sighted like this/ ENough of this....I got hockey to watch. My boys are going to go thump Manysoootta tonight. lh
