Here's an article about some people who ignored the virus, as told by someone who has tended to their last moments alive. These deaths are the fruit of the seeds of doubt Trump has planted, watered, and lovingly nurtured.

A traveling ICU nurse who has been treating COVID-19 patients said she often sees "regret" from her patients for not taking action to prevent contracting the virus. Lydia Mobley, who is a traveling nurse with Fastaff, which is deploying nurses across the country, told CBSN's Lana Zak that "a common thing we hear is they didn't think coronavirus was real, they didn't think it was serious."

"It's hard to watch someone struggling to breathe and see the regret that they have — the regret for just not wearing a mask, or maybe not going to a party, or maybe not going to that wedding or not going to that church service," Mobley said. "In the end, people are dying because they just didn't realize the seriousness of that situation. And It's hard to watch."

"I hope more people will understand that something as simple as wearing a mask or not going to a party or whatever small steps can really make a difference."
