This is much like the boom it has been to the polar bears who were predicted to be extinct by now but are instead thriving in great numbers.

I'm curious too... I hear that from climate deniers... I'd like to see some of those predictions.

In any case, as you MIGHT have noticed, science has gotten more sophisticated.

Our phones are way faster than the most powerful computers 40 years ago, let alone 70, and climatologists are using super computers now and better algorithms... That's why you're flying in jets now no prop planes.

An so far they've gotten it pretty right except global warming is proceeding faster due to things like less ice at the poles reflecting less light, and methane escaping from thawing permafrost.
