That may have been it. Recent acquisitions of companies in this sector may indicate that lows are in especially on those that have supply chains in US and/or Mexico. Still need Congress approval os USMCA agreement.

General Motors ( GM -3.1%) says it will idle a pickup plant in Mexico due to the impact of the UAW strike.

The automaker says the decision is due to a parts shortage.

6K GM workers at the location will be temporarily laid off.
