If the rumor of Intel using Samsung at 14nm is true, then I would expect this is the first step in FabLite for Intel. They will end up partnering with Samsung for their GAA 3nm process in 2021.

However, the link on the claim of Intel and Samsung was from the Korean press, and they seem to play fast and lose with rumors, often slanted to be favorable to Korean companies. When Intel announces they are using Samsung, then it will be believable...
