Another good brand is Hancook tires.

I have them on my Subaru and I love them.
Someone told me that with Subaru's, if you have to replace a single tire, you should replace all four tires. That could be an expensive proposition. Is there any truth to this?

Looks like a good product. I didn't look up all-weather ones - too used to the seasonal-roulette concept and generally, products that try to be all things to all needs end up compromising so much that it makes them mediocre overall. But it looks like Nokian gets good reviews like this one at Consumer Reports, plus as a user where you get harsh winters, I'd be inclined to believe you about them. What kind of mileage do you get out of them?
