jmh - just reviewing earlier postings and I saw 'City of Hope', 'HIV', 'RNAi', in the message I am replying to and thought of Benitec - small world, isn't it!

John Rossi is on our Scientific Advisory Board and a head honcho at City of Hope:
*John Rossi, PhD, principal investigator and director of City of Hope’s Department of Molecular Biology*
cityofhope.org

Interesting connection - NNVC/Rossi/Benitec/HIV

Money to be made?

Refs.
Interesting 'Rossi' mention:

John J. ROSSI, who is one of the brains behind Benitec. He's also the Dean of the Graduate Division in Molecular Biology at the Beckman Research Institute and the City of Hope. They don't give fools or cons positions like that. [[I agree and they don't join the Advisory Boards of those sorts of companies, either!!!]] Look at not just WHAT he has published, but WHERE. No comparison. It is like comparing girls T-ball with the World Series.
