"DoD is the Neocon movement. " Perhaps the operational arm, not the intellectual side with the exception of wolfowitz. I think DOD doctrine has more to do with a failed view of modern warfare, not nc ideology. There are plenty of neocons upset about the conduct of the war. Bill Kristol comes to mind. "On the legal front, again, I don't think Kerry will right the wrong laws Bush has placed on the books." Wrong laws? If possible can you itemize these. I have heard much about loss of civil rights and have seen little of it. I know its hard for mideast, south asian folks at airports but i am not sure that in wartime what we have in place is unreasonable. I am sure that there are exceptions and i am not trying to be cute with the question. mike
