You never explained to me how Nasser's actions in 1967 (blockading the Straits of Tiran, moving 2 divisions into the Sinai, telling the UN to go away, declaring publicly "Our basic goal is the destruction of Israel", etc.) showed his peaceful intentions.

If you so firmly believe that Israel started the 1967 War in order to conquer land from its peaceful and non-belligerent neighbors, surely you have a coherent explanation of why Nasser (and Syria, et. al.) did these seemingly warlike things in late 1966 and early 1967.
