I am not long or short the stock - just FURIOUS at the fact I have been unable to trade most of today, yesterday and the end of last week. This is awful. I'm pulling all of my accounts, and in the process now. If I could only liquidate so I could transfer it might help. No web access and an hour wait on the phone...

I assure you, I neither own the stock or am short the stock.
Let's face it. It's not like we are here just to run our mouth and make up DLJ problems and are spreading vicious rumors. The problems are a fact and effect everyone. The system was down, period. If you don't trade everyday, several times a day, you may not experience some of the occasional daily glitches. I do agree that the problems are probably temporary and will eventually be fixed. But that does not help us now.
As to the long wait on the phone, it should not happen. I rarely call, but even on days without any problems, no exceptional busy market, I had to wait 30 minutes or more. I get some very nice Investor Service person who apologizes for the long wait and that they are in the process of increasing staff. That was a long time ago. Something has to give here. DLJ needs to listen to their customers.
How can anyone trade or invest under these conditions. It did not used to be this way.
