~~~I always knew I would look back at the times I'd cried and laugh, but I never knew that I'd look back at the times I'd laughed and cry.~~~
Keepers
Daniel Halpern
Judged by the inch,
those falling
short
live another day,
those beyond
the limit pay
for their sins,
if sin
is what growth is.
Greed or
subsistence, hunger
in any form
looking
for satisfaction --
something
of substance to take
home, something
whole to keep.
I know the truth - give up all other truths!
Marina Tsvetayeva
I know the truth - give up all other truths!
No need for people anywhere on earth to struggle.
Look- it is evening, look, it is nearly night:
what do you speak of, poets, lovers, generals?
The wind is level now, the earth is wet with dew,
the storm od stars in the sky will turn to quiet.
And soon all of us will sleep under the earth,
we
who never let each other sleep above it.
[have a great evening all]
O.B. Enebo. One of a number of real life people with palindromic names. Others who have been noted: Bob Laval, Mark Kram, Lon Nol, Revilo Oliver, and any number of people whose first name is Ava, Anna, Otto, or Hannah. A particularly odd case of palindromania was reported in 1972 when the UPI discovered a Vinton, Ohio, couple who gave each of their eleven children a middle name which was the reversed spelling of the first name. They included: Noel Leon, Lledo Odell, Laur Rual, Loneva Avenol, Lebanna Annabel, and Leah Hael.
I found a literary crytogram site!
Eeek. Just peeked. Gives me the willies just looking at it.
Although seemingly as productive as my stock research.
