Why would they intentionally reduce the price of their own product? It's amazing to me that the whole-scale cheating hasn't started already. Eventually one of the OPECers will try to sell oil behind the others' backs because they know that one of the others eventually will anyway and they'll figure that they ought to try to profit first. That's what caused the collapse of oil prices and the disappearance of the "energy crisis", not any actions on our part, and that's what will happen again.
