Metals, here is my latest rendition of DCHT review: Expect a dramatic increase in attention to the fuel cell business as Goldman Sachs, and Merril Lynch take Plug Power public, for $ 117 million!!

DCH Technology, Inc. manufactures hydrogen sensors, gas detectors and process monitors; licensed from the US Department of Energy's Sandia National Laboratory.

DCHT also makes PEM Fuel Cells; also US Department of Energy technology,
licensed from Los Alamos National Laboratory. Substantial financial, marketing, and organizational resources are currently being devoted to fuel cell technology, driving the nascent market from approximately $40 million in 1999 to over $10 billion by 2010, according to findings made recently by Allied Business Intelligence of Oyster Bay, NY.

DCH Chief Scientist Mark Daugherty, joined DCH directly from Los Alamos in June 1998. LANL is leading the charge in the United States for the commercialization of alternative and renewable energies, and specifically for DCHT, fuel cells. The Dept. of Energy has a an educational website on fuel cells at

DCHT was awarded their first fuel cell contract from North West Power Systems, a division of NYSE: IDA, as part of an overall $ 3.5 million dollar preliminary order from Bonneville Power Authority, (announced July, 19, 1999).

Stephanie Hoffman will join DCH in Sept. as Vice President and General Manager of the Fuel Cell Business. Ms. Hoffman comes to DCH from Eaton Corporation where she was Director of Strategic Planning and Business Technology Manager.

DCHT filed their Form 10 on August 6, 1999, and is now actively seeking to expand it's shareholder base. (see press release, July, 29, 1999).

May 12, 1999 U.S. Rep. Howard P. "Buck" McKeon, ( CA) announced that DCHT was chosen by the Department of Energy's Hydrogen Program to lead a study on the potential for using of hydrogen power on ships. DCH will manage a team of 22 organizations including Allied Signal, and the American Bureau of Shipping to

April 8, 1999 DCH successfully demonstrated their PEM Hydrogen Fuel Cell.

Mar. 4, 1999 DCH and Allied Signal announced a multi year strategic alliance for the implementation and commercialization of hydrogen energy and safety technologies.

Feb. 11, 1999 DCH and Freewing Aerial Robotics Corp., begin a development program to integrate Hydrogen PEM Fuel Cells into the Freewing Tilt-Body Unmanned Aeronautical Vehicle (UAV).

The DCH Technology story has not yet come to the attention of the investment and analyst community, and is still virtually unknown.

DCH has an experienced management team, with careers stemming from RCA Aerospace, Rockwell, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Aeronautics Corp. of America, General Instruments and Motorola, etc.
