Charles bails out of being the majority owner of the Islanders. Maybe he saw the $$$ the NBA Clippers went for? Naw, this franchise missed the playoffs in six of the last seven seasons. In sports, this kind of losing record usually indicates poor management. Bail out Charles when you can.. and he does!

No references here to Broadcom's acquisition of Computer Associates (CA) ??

November 5, 2018

What's a mere $18.9 Billion among friends?

"After the acquisition, Broadcom laid off former CA Technology workers in Silicon Valley. It also laid off 262 former CA Technology employees in Islandia, and some in Manhattan. "

ca.com

theregister.co.uk

marketwatch.com

cbronline.com

businessinsider.com

And tons of other news items . . .

A list of CA's history of acquisitions is included in the following doc:

wikiwand.com

Capex Corporation -- 1982 -- Ahhh, yes. Many, many fond memories.

Sure is a pretty day.
