Couldn't resist this one:
If the news is positive, around 13.00
If the news in negative, probably .40

If the news is positive: 8.25
If the news is negative: 2.20

I believe this thread is overestimating the import of this news, short term.

My prediction was not meant to reflect what I think the price will do on the day the news is released. It is where I think, if it does go into an up rally, it will top out at 13.00, and in the case of a sell off it will bottom out at.40. No time frame.

Old thread rises like the phoenix !!
Some time has passed now so I will post this here.

I know this ain't over folks but I really doubt that Strathcona has the magic bullet to kill this monster, also Walsh and Company will be vindicated, but that vindication may not be the striking matter that all desire.

FP refers to Bre-X yesterdays rally because of Bro-X got its COW. I wonder the news came before or after the market close.

Stock price prediction? Based on what I heard, Bre-x is going to open over $10, probably hit $15 but only briefly before massive profit taking drives it below $10 again. Low maybe around $7. Don't count on selling your stock high because the sell orders will overload the TSE again. But this dip will be brief because in a couple of days, the COW will be signed and Bre-x might get a takeover bid..... All this is contingent on Strathcona reporting positive results, but the uncertainty regarding the Indos and the lack of faith in the company (once burnt, twice shy) plus traders will probably cash in their profits = will limit the price rise. Over time, the stock will hopefully recover to the $20 range. BUT, big BUT, if the results are bad, I don't need to elaborate further.

to BRE-X shares holder

The best way to recover is get in NPA with a speculation target of
around $ 100. and they get the marchandise and they are in Canada.

The best alternative for now!!!

I am loser for Bre-x and I hope I can recover by getting in NPA.
Hope you are right on this one.

Check out the PFG thread; it has what Bre-X lacked-honesty, cash in hand, great properties, qualified management and the results are Barrick's.

PFG's WEB site is: pacrim-mining.com
