There is some good info on cwei's Cotton Valley play over on Yahoo finance. Talk on the streets of Midland is encouraging. This could have a strong move up if the well tests as strong as it sounds. They should be through with the sidetrack in 20 days or less so maybe our patience will pay off. Hope so anyway. I asked Lujuanda Holder by email today if the stock window has been opened yet to employees . Insider buying would also be a strong indicator of things to come. As you probably know cwei has stopped all of it's Austin Chalk drilling as it is not profitable at $12 oil.

I am hearing CWEI just hit a massive gas well and it will be announced very soon. Can anyone confirm?

RCJII,

You are referring to the Fazzino #1. What we know so far is that the well has significant gas shows and porous zones over 600 feet of reef. It was perforated this week and production test data is expected next week. This well has the potential of adding quite substantially to CWEI's current production.

Heretic,

Fazzino is the one I am referring to. I heard all indications are that it is bigger than anyone imagined. Next week should be interesting.

I think its about 1/2 of the pressure expected at the well head...
