I would like to hear some good news. Yes, I am trying to average down from 29.5 so anything above 20 would be a welcome sight. Try the "Satellite Stocks" forum - there seems to be a lot more chat there than the "USSB" forum. Good luck.

Subject: USSB PR and IR

Sorry Jim, but I don't have good news to report.

I have been trying to reach the USSB investor relations department with my broker for about a month now. I even tried to talk to the marketing director after failing three times to reach an IR person.

Based upon this and some of the feedback that I have seen about their customer service in the Usenet DBS forums, I am giving up in my attempt to repurchase this stock.

This won't help their image any. I'll take a look at USSB again if they show improvement in these important areas.

Best wishes to you.

To get info on USSB, ask for Pat Mylan in investor relations/communications. I talked to him this week....

RE: USSB IR

RP, Thanks, I may give them one more try. I have some tough questions for them.

Slighty off topic - Anybody seen the activity on DISH lately. This whole sector has been hit pretty hard lately. Lots of short term red ink, but promising 1-3 years looking out. Watching closely....

I've been looking into this company, which seems to have excellent prospects. The only problem I see is a suit from Personalized Media Communications L.L.C. that claims patent infringement against Hughs Electronic Corp's DirecTV Inc and USSB. Is this a threat or just some whining?

Anyone heard anything further on the patent deal?

I haven't seen a thing on it. Stock looks like it wants to move a little. Any word on subscriber base? I'm still trying to understand the arrangement between USSB and DirecTV. Any thoughts?
